Well it looks like the results are the same so lets back track...How difficult would each mounting be? Mounting capability...modifications needed for each (shifting/crossmember).....parts availability (bell housings if needed, starter mounting room) etc!

Agreed, from my searching, it looks like it's the T5 install vs a top loader install. I think I'll play it by ear for now and see what becomes available first. Price wise new they appear to be the same. wilcap vs speedway


rumor has it the cases of the T4 and T5 are the same.

I had and drove a stone stock 34 tudor about 20,000 miles with a stock 85 hp flattie. The first approximately 500 miles was with the stock 4.11's. I ordered the 3.54 ring and pinion within 1 week of buying the car. The last 19,500 miles was with the 3.54's. I was never unhappy with the 3.54's.
If it was my truck my choice would be to find a 3.50 3rd member for the 9 inch and put it in the truck.
