EBPV again!

I started to have problems with the ebpv staying closed on my 1997. Around 40 degrees and below it shuts and doesnt like to open back up. When i tap the brakes or throttle it, it will open for a second or two. So i listened to you guys and unplugged it, via the grey/black plug under the turbo. Worked GREAT! until this morning... Started the truck up when it was 25 degrees and it started fine. I walked into my garage and did a couple quick things then went back out. The truck sounded like it was blown up running on a couple cylinders and smoking. Shut it off and plugged in my ebpv again and it ran better. However now im back to square one! I even have a canvas grill cover. I drove it on the highway at 70 mph for about 20 miles the truck never got warm, i mean i have awesome heat, but ive never seen the needle go past the N in Normal. Thremostat? EBPV solinoid? Please help!

Welcome to my world, sell it now before you have a meltdown like me. If your not a mechanic, good luck, I think I replaced every part possible on mine and still, she somehow seems to win the battle.

Unplug it & wire it open .. The EPBV shouldn't make it run on less than eight

Yeah , real helpful .. You're attitude is the problem . If you were to give us some history , what you have done , when it began , ect , we may be able to help you .
All we are getting from you is you are pissed , & someone else owes you an explanation . If you are not going to help , go away .....

no man im sorry, i really thought that was to me. my fault..I just dont know what else would make it run that bad if it isnt the ebpv. It shook and wouldnt take throttle. Blue smoke was everywhere and rapped like a **** ha..once plugged back in i gave it throttle and it shook and then smoothed out...but still stays shut. I think maybe the guy before me took out the thermostat..it came from oregon.
