HrdDrv. Get those weight off the out side of the wheel! the clear is already chipped but at least it will not hold crap behind the weight and make the clear start to lift
I agree, I never use the clip on wheel weights. They ruin the lip.
How do you balance those Brad? Dont say sticky weights....
What other wheel weight options are there, besides the ones that clip on the wheel lip and the ones that stick on the inside of the wheel? I have been using the ones that stick on the inside of the wheel for years, with little or no real problems.
I do not like them. Ive always used clip on weights if I even need that. I dont have any on two of my wheels. They are balanced out. But, you can also get the pellets for the inside of the tire that they fill in low spots. I just do not like sticky weights. They come off under some circumstances and they leave a residue behind that you need to scrape or buff off.

A shot of goo gone takes off any adhesive with a quick wipe. The pellets you are talking about aren't very proven and they won't work well at lower speeds.
static balance and sticky weights is the way to go. You clamp on the weights on the inside lip and stick on the weights behind the face of the wheel, no ruined clear coat and no ugly weights to look at. I have been running stick on weight on all my truck for mor than 15 years and have never had a problem
