I went to my local parts house the other day and purchased a Chilton's repair manual for my 1995 F250 7.3L 5spdm S/C 4X2. I got the book home and started going threw it and was greatly dissapointed in the book. I does not have a whole lot of info on my truck in it. It covers mostly gas motors and 80's trucks the info on my trucks is sparce and does not go into any detail about it. Do any of you know were I can get a better repair manual that has more info on the 7.3 IDI. The manual I have is suppose to cover my truck but like I said they did a poor job of coving the info on this model.
The Ford manual is available on CD and can be found around the internet. I can't remember where I got mine. It's for 96-99 Ford trucks. Everything you ever wanted to know about the powerstroke is in there. There are absolutely no aftermarket manuals that are worth a crap for any Ford if you are doing anything more complicated than replacing light bulbs.
