Repair Manual
I'm looking into repair manuals for my truck, and I saw this Chilton's manual on Amazon: Amazon.com: Chilton's Ford Pick-Ups and Bronco 1987-96 Repair Manual (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual) (9780801988288): Jaffer A. Ahmad: Books
Does anybody here have any experience with this book? Is it worth $20? Are there better ones out there?

Are you looking for an all around reapair manual that covers the entire truck or one just for the powerstroke motor? I know the make one just for the psd motor, but for all around manuals i have found its best to have both haynes and chilton because if one manual doesnt cover something, like torque specs or where parts arre, the other one usually has it.

Yea i think i have that one or one like it, its deffinetly helpful and worth the money to buy. but i found that the more it covers the less specific it is about what u wanna know. i have all three that i mentioned above, in my tool box just so i know i have all the info i will ever need. but to answer ur question yes it is a good manual but just might not cover it all.

Enjoy! To tell you the truth, I think this site is the best "manual" for our trucks, imo. 24/7 technical help. These guys will help you prep for a project and give you do's and don'ts, and if you paint yourself in a corner they will extract you to safety in a timely manner. stick around and ask as many questions as you can. There isn't NOTHING these guys have not seen and they are willing and able to help you out!
