Hi all, I have a 2000 f350 7.3, 4x4, manual 6speed trans. I am having an issue with the trans and need to repair it. I was wondering about what service manual/manuals would give me the most complete info on how to repair my truck not only for my current problem but for anything else that will come up in the future. I looked and was down to 2 choices, the ford shop manuals and the manuals on the helms site. Can anyone help me with my decision or give me another route to go? I do not think haynes or chilton is thorough enough and I am skeptical about, but not opposed to, the cheap cd/dvds on ebay. The ford and helms manuals are expensive but I thought they would be worth the money. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
it is 5.5 GB repair manual for ford trucks 2000-2004
I have never put it on disk because I think I have the same on DVD
a couple guys on here put it up for download a while back
That is nice! I have the 01 manual that cookie88 hooked me up with. 5.5 GB That's a complete manual. Good find! I'll try and find that thread so that I can download and burn it.

the site is no longer available, think I remember someone got in trouble over it,but can't remember who it was
this was the address http://www.fordcds.com
I had thought about uploading it to limewire but think it took about a day to download
I don't like limewire.Too many virus'. My stepson has it on his comp but man every couple of months he has huge problems and my comp. guy says most of it is from limewire.
That's good. I guess he must disable some of his virus stuff somehow. He also download a lot of music so maybe that's where some of his problems come from. That's why no one touches my computers!! You were right that link is now gone.
