On my 66 f-100 the left side is bad. Someone replaced the floor by welding a flat piece of medal over the old rusted floor, now I have a oil can in the floor, and they didn't replace the cab mount.I don't drive the truck every day so I've been looking around for the best price. Not cheap. One said he charge 85 a hour, and he said it would take a week. When I ask him you mean 40 hour week, he said no, but more than 20 hours. Still looking.(math) So If you have time, just talk around to find someone that does a good job, but not too cheap or you will what I have.
An old trick that should take care of the oil-canning... use a propane torch to heat a spot on the floor to cherry red, the quench with a wet rag. Do this in 3 or 4 spots and it should shrink the metal enough to stop it. Also, it goes without saying... but be aware of whats underneath and around where your using the tourch.
