Pac, yes check the choke first. Next, what kind of ignition are you running ? If you have the duraspark that your 75 came with, thats a good place to start. You might want to try a differant coil, make certain the plug wires are good, and open up the plug gaps some. My truck didn't like cold weather at all. Had to warm up twenty minutes or more just to be able to drive down the road. It had the points. I switched to a duraspark dizzy with an LX101 trigger and a jacobs 380672 coil.
It was like a whole differant truck. I give it two pumps, pull the choke out, it starts without compliant. 30 seconds and I push in the choke and can drive away. The differance a healthy ignition can make can be huge. DinosaurFan
