Lining up the hood:

Hi guys, can someone give me some direction on how to line up my hood on my 1977 Ford F250, I am out about an inch on one side???

If the hood or front clip is not bent, it takes trial, error and a lot of time. Moving the hood or the hinge a small amount moves the hood quite a bit. You have to move both sides to get it just right, even though just one side looks out of wack.

what if the front clip is completely off the truck? can you do it from the inside while the hood is closed?
then after it is lined up put the front clip back on the truck?
sorry don't mean to hijack the thread but i have a front clip that i am replacing mine with and thought maybe this would work.
