7-Lugger

Just bought an 01 7700 at an auction. Had a bad transmission so I got CHEAP for a truck with only 65k miles!

It is also a factory flex fuel truck with 74gal LP tank in the bed. If it were CNG I would have been thrilled to use it because I can buy CNG from a nearby school pretty cheap... but I dont buy into Al Gore's green movement and wont pump LP just to save the whales.

I pulled the LP tank from the bed and capped the lines, then added a fuel station tank with electric pump and tool box that has been sitting in my yard for a year. The municipality that sent it to the auction told me they had trouble with the LP vehicles they bought so they werent using the flex fuel and werent registering them thataway either. We have a cabin in county where we dont have to go thru emmissions so I had it inspected at MVD, got a special use plate for flex fuel - then pulled all that crap out! My tags are only $5/year!!!

I found a beautiful ladder rack for a c-note...

and got me a GREAT work truck!

did some reading here about the 7-luggers and figure they are a bit more heavy duty than regular f-one fitty?
