IAT1 is integrated with the MAF sensor just behind the air filter in the intake tube.. The sensor behind the grill supplies temp info for the EATC/HVAC system(Ext Temp).. Comparing these 2 against each other is a great way to see that expensive cold air intakes don't supply much cold air compared to a stock filter..
