Emergency Light **** bezel

does anyone know if the bezel for the 67 and up will work on a 66?
Does it have the same treaded end etc? I cant find one for a 66 anywhere, doesnt look like anyone sells it. ALl they try to sell me is the part with the lens for the actual emergency light flasher in the dash. I need the bezel around the **** of the emergency flasher. I believe it should be plain with no text.
Let me know if anyone has tried this and if it will fit. Anything is better than nothing at this point.
Thanks
Brian

have you checked with dennis carpenter? i was browsing the online catalouge and the seemed to have all of that stuff. http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/pdf/57-66Truck2009.pdf page 45. they are all listed as 61-69 so it would seem that the one from a 67 would work.

yeah, that isnt the right part, what they call the bezel (N) in that catalog is actually the part I already have. they round part with the red lens where the light actually flashes. I dont need that part at all. I need the bezel that goes around the know. Its threaded and holds the actual flasher unit in place

thats strange that they have all the other ones but not for the flasher. the 67-79 cat lists one that says emergency flasher. http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/pdf/67-79_2009.pdf page 43. id be surprised if it didn't work

That depends...
Regarding the bezel you are asking about, the one behind the ****:

1965/66: There were two different types, because there were two different switches. *

C5TZ15C580A .. Emergency Warning Lamp Switch **** Bezel w/Nut / Obsolete

Fits: 1965 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100/250 2WD before serial number 858,001.

The serial number is the last six digits of the VIN.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-----------------------------------------------
B6TZ9A389A .. Bezel w/Nut / Obsolete

Fits: 1966 F100/250 2WD from serial number 858,001. Used as the Emergency Warning Lamp Switch ****'s Bezel.

Fits: 1967 F100/350 / Used as the Cargo Lamp Switch ****'s Bezel w/Deluxe Heater.

Fits: 1967 F100/350 / Used as the Courtesy Lamp Switch ****'s Bezel.

I found 13 of these bezels NOS (New Old Stock) at Ford Dealers and obsolete parts vendors, but is it correct?

The closest source to you that has one is: BILLY CAIN FORD in Commerce GA = 706-335-3105. You could call and ask them to describe it over the phone.

* The problem is...which 4 way flasher switch do you really have?

Since this was an optional accessory, if installed by a dealer, it could be from a 1961/64, as some dealers would install whatever they had in stock.
