Morning Pat. Don't complain, it was a balmy 8 when I left the house this morning....
You win. Are you sure you aren't in Alaska & didn't notice it? Maybe aliens kidnapped you or something. That sounds more like the number of hours most people get per day at their job than a temperature.

We just like going from one extreme to another. It was in the 60's here on Monday.

Think it hit 60 here Tues. or Wed. That wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't mind if it got up even a few more.
None here either, and I hope it stays that way!
Thought we had a few flakes here Wed. night, but when I finally got outside yesterday it looked more like a hard frost. Still too cold for me. Ain't as young as I used to be.
Okay, this is NOT good. Went out to steal 5 gal. bucket of water from next door so I could flush & saw a few pieces of this white stuff floating down out of the sky. Where's Chicken Little when we need him? The sky is falling!!!
It was 18 at the bus stop with the kids. Put a log on the coals in the shop and went back to bed. Should have stayed out there and worked on the car. Now its time to leave for the store.
Most of the old-timers here are stockpiling whatever they can get their hands on. I've never seen this many huge wood piles around people's houses like I have this year. One place has so much wood you can hardly see the house.
As for me - I'm of the opinion its going to be a doozy.

Thanks Steve, was looking at something else & didn't know he'd asked.
Well, so much for that. Called this morning for my times today. " No times yet ". About an hour later, " You're canceled ". Just got another call, " Okay, you've got my times for tomorrow ". " No, you're canceled ". Going to be another great check next week. Have less than 15 hours & just lost my chance for any more this week.
