Hey Bill, you'll love this. Right now it is -10 degrees outside. I have frozen water but until it warms up a little I don't think I'm going to do anything about it. It is suppose to get to a real warm +21 today. Boy I just love this weather, Ha Ha. I don't mind the cold but this is crazy cold. The last time I went through this kind of snow & cold was in 06 in Elko.
Wish me luck. Plus we have a foot of snow on the ground.

Bruce you guys are warm we are still showing -5 here in Fallon. I got my water thawed out. I froze at the pressure regulator even with heat tape. The way the tape is on there it was at the end of a 10' run so it wasn't as warm as the rest. It did fine to -2 but both our thermos in our SUVs showed -17 at 5:30am when the wife headed off to work. Our Blazer barely started. The Jeep wasn't much better. The best is we are suppose to be about the same tonight.

back on line after 2 day of the internet being down, that storm trashed everything around here. lost power for quite a while. many roofs missing, small buildings changed owners. (not mine)
Good! this last weekend we got the cab back on the frame.... the frame and under the cab and firewall are all painted. next will be installing the engine and trans, as soon as the tranny is rebuilt. had money saved for the rebuild, but the wife found it. she left me 300 bucks out of a Grand

did you hear about the Elk hunter killed in his tent by a falling tree? must have been bad up there!
I have never "seen" winds that hard in my life. it was totally insane! I would have to guess 60 to 70 mph here.
I did read one report that the tree that fell on the hunter had ant infestation and made it week. still not good!
one of the ranches I work on lost the roof off of the house, it blew ply wood and all off.
my wife just talked to a friend in Prescott and they have a weather station and had 75 MPH winds, local weather says
Chino had the highest winds in the state so that would put over 75?
ya know I live in Arizona so I don't have to deal with hurricanes at least that is what I thought!
and to think that I threw a fit when the county made me get a building with a 90 mph wind rating.
Wow, 75 mph winds are bad. The worst I ever experienced was when I was kid in Hawthorne NV. The morning started out a little breezy I went to my friends house at the other end of town walking. (Hawthorne is only a mile from end to end). About an hour after I got there The winds started to pick up. So I thought I better get home. I started walking up Main Street & the wind was blowing so hard I had to duck in & out of store fronts. I finally made it to the center of town. I worked at one of the Gas Stations there & I went in the station. My boss told me to just stay there. He called my parents & told them where I was. Anyway the wind sock at the airport blew off with the last read at 110 MPH. It blew for about 7 hours that way. Every window in town was sand blasted, & every vehicle in town that wasn't inside had no paint. There were two small airplanes at the airport that were tore from there anchors. Most roofs had no shingles left, but surprisingly most structures were in tack. I guess they don't build them like in those days.
Anyway, Bart glad you & family are OK.
Bill, we are staying warm inside. It is suppose to be even colder tonight. I'm guessing -20 if we are lucky. I got the water squared away & will leave it dripping tonight. We have been in -20 before with this trailer & we stayed comfortable. We have lived in this kind of cold a good part of our lives. Vici & I have prepared this trailer over the years to hold up in these cold temps. We have plenty of propane, plus electric heaters, plus lights underneath with insulated skirting. Then we run fans to keep air moving. So unless something like power outage or something breaking we should be OK. We do have a 6500 watt generator but at -20 it might be hard to get it started, but I hope I don't need it.

Good morning Mark. We are at a warm -10.5 degrees this morning. I see we shattered the record low set in 1972 for here.
Good morning Arizona. Hey what happened to Cris? I haven't seen her around. Hope she is OK.
