morning everyone!! wind chill temps here are -18* and they are not joking!!! When Joe left for work, he got as far as the tree tunnel and had to turn around cuz there was an F150 burried to the roof in a snowdrift!!!lolol I have seen the plows since then so I guess they got it moved.lolol 11" here with 3 foot drifts here and there.....the part that really sucks is I have to go out there when the mail gets here!!!
So was Silbe'!! battery was fine but starter was frozen....Joe had fun plowing through big snowdrifts on his way to work!! he thinks they might close early again and then we are gonna go play after he gets home!!loll
Morning everyone... what's all this talk about cold and snow? It's 80 degrees and sunny here!
Or, maybe I'm still in my little dream world since I froze my brain when I was snowblowing the 2 foot drift off the driveway for the second time... stupid wind. It might be a perfect winter day if it wasn't blowing so hard.
They closed everything down here, even the mall... the poor kids have nowhere to go since schools are closed too. I think we had nine inches of snow, but with all the blowing, I'm not sure how they measure that.
Morning Rob, everything is closed down here also. Luckily, the teen ager says he wants to snow blow the driveway. Who am I to keep him from doing what he wants.....

I need to get one of those "teen ager" things... Well, maybe not, I've heard they can be expensive to feed!
At least the snow is light and fluffy, doesn't take much to run the snow blower through the drifts.
you guys are lucky, I just went home and shoveled what was 8" of fluffy snow this morning, which is now wet heavy, slushy, mush. If I don't do it now by tomorrow we would have frozen solid chucks of ice, and tonight until late tomorrow a high wind advisory. The temps aren't going to be above freezing for I don't know how long. The forecast modeling only goes to next Tuesday.
