return fuel line pressure, how much?
How much fuel pressure is usually in the return fuel line at the tank? Im asking because I just did the in tank fuel mod, and I have a leak on the top of the tank. My push connector on the return side was bad, so I cut it off and just hose clamped in on there. Im wondering if the pressure is high causing the leak up there.

The push connectors are junk, which is why it's popular to do the pre-pump mods along with the in-tank fuel mods. The pre-pump mods eliminate the quick connect fittings that Ford uses. Those o-rings in the fittings easily wear out and leak.
As for pressure, there isn't much. Most pre-pump mods just use hose clamps on the replacement lines. That's what's on my truck. No leaks in the 3 years since I've done the mod.

Yeah, I used the itp kit. I cut the return push connector off also, and hose clamped the return back on the tank, but now there is a small leak up there somewhere, just what I wanted to do is drop the tank again!! ugh!
