I saw a recent post r/t heated seats. What models of ford trucks that have heated seats will work in my 87 BII? Do I need to beef up the alternator or battery to accomodate this additional electrical pull? Thanks for any assistance any one may be able to offer
I bought seat heaters from the company that makes them for Ford. I forget the name, suggest you do a Google search. They fit right into the seat foam on my 2001 F150, but if yours aren't set-up, its an easy modification. I think they were ~$90 a set.
They DO feel good on my achin' back on these colder days! They're fused at only 10A each, so I don't think it would be a strain on any electrical system in good shape.
