Hi Fordboy! welcome to FTE. There are a number of people on here with "girlie motors" (just a standard tease for those with the baby V-8s nothing personal ) in their Effies. It will bring a better response if you tell us more about Dad's 55, and ask specific questions. Post some pix in a gallery (see the sticky at the top of the forum on how to do that) and tell us about your project, how you got it, what condition is it in, what are your plans for it, what tools/equipment/work space you have, do you have any previous experience working on older vehicles or vehicles in general. Don't forget to add where you are located to your user profile, you might be surprised to find there is a fellow member close by. Father and Son projects are really a great bonding experience. Once you hit the magic # of posts (25 currently) a lot of helpful features will become available to you such as search, email and Personal Messages. There is also a lot of good info in the articles and specifications tab. Click on articles/specs in the grey band at the top of the page and look for things that might be useful.
