I just purchased a 2002 F-250 Ext Cab with the PSD. I am wondering if any company makes a dual exhaust system, like seen on many of the gassers with 2 pipes coming out underneath the bed. Thanks for the info....
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Nov-02 AT 05:27 PM (EST)]I don't think I've ever seen one ready-made, but lots of exhaust shops can install a Y-pipe, and split the exhaust, sending one pipe out each side. However, since you've got a 3.5" system, you might have to go to a exhaust shop that works on the big rigs to find the components you want.
Just my $.02.

Just make sure you dont create a bottle neck. Even though your spliting into 2 pipes, the diamiter needs to remain the same all the way through, or at least gettting bigger as it goes out. I've seen to many diesels that had duals made where the "Y" pipe reduced from a 3 1/3 to two: 2 1/2" or 2 1/4" pipes. All that does is create a bottle neck effect and increase back pressure.
