i thought that to put on the new part 6637 intake filter we needed a 45 degree bend adapter tube, well i was looking at riffraff earlier and it says it comes with a striaght pipe adapter. just curious on do you call them or do they just change it for the 1994-1997 powerstrokes

Just select the correct year that the kit is for and we will make sure you get the correct intake tube. If you need anything just give us a call. Thanks
Just ordered one for my truck. as much as I like the stock look under the hood, I had to do this. not to mention last time i changed the stock air filter, i had to remove the entire box anyways cause the bolts fell out the bottom and i couldnt get it put back together. PITA! got tore up knuckles from that too. What about keeping that stock air duct over the battery? I would like to think that cooler denser air would be a good thing rather than warm thinner air from under the hood? probably wont make much difference...
I took mine out because I do not need the air directed into a duct anymore. There will be plenty of cold air hitting the filter from the truck moving forward.
