just got into my first truck a 1987 f250, does anybody know how big of tires i can clear without any trouble? the truck is at factory ride height, thank you!!
if your suspension is stock, the 33s will fit with minimal rub. when you pin the wheel or the suspension articulates (like when going over rocks), you might get some fenderwell rub. but for the most part they should be alright
alright, guess 33's sound like a solid choice, i was pondering 35's but that sounds like it may be trouble, and by the way my current tires are 235/85/r16
if you got a leveling kit, you could probably fit 35s just fine. if it were me though, i would wait to get a 4" suspension lift and go with something a little larger
well i think im gonna go with a set of 35"s those 36"s look real nice on your truck man, and if they rub ill just go with a leveling kit, anyway i traded my 98 vw jetta for this 87 f250 4x4 6.9 diesel, so it didnt cost me a thing, not bad eh?
