4R70W to E4OD

Anyone replaced their 4R70W with an E4OD? Wondering if it shifted and operated correctly? Planning on using the computer from my '96 F150 parts truck with 302, 4R70W to do a mass air conversion on a F350 with 460, E4OD. If the computer will not correctly control the E4OD, I will have to ditch it and go with a C6 or manual transmission.

you will need to have a computer for the e4od to control it.the 4r70w computer wont work.get a pcm out of a 97 ford f350 with a 460 and e4od setup.it has the mass air flow sensor.
