300 valve adjustment?
How do you adjust the valves on a 4.9 inline six? Ive heard that with the engine running to loosen them till' they tap, and then tighten them unitl they don't. I tried this and it didnt seem very effective. It seems like my valves start tapping excessively every other time I drive the truck. No matter how much I adjust them, they always seem to come out of adjustment again. Any suggestions?
