I will add that as a somewhat newbie around here I do appreciate the fact that if I ask a question that may have been covered a million times, I don't get a gruff "look it up on the search engine" type of response...
.
Really? Maybe you should search for one! Sorry, I couldn't help myself!
I'm sorry I've been a slackard lately and not greeting newbies or giving them my special lectures and extra rations of crap.
Things should get interesting in a few weeks - I start a new therapy regeme where I hav e to drag the demons from my head and fight them till one of us wins.
Ya'll might see something new.
Well ok, I guess I prefer Chicken or Shrimp !
I've been around here a little while and I bet I have asked the same question/s more than once, Now where did I put that 9/16 wrench???
I love this family no matter how dysfunctional we all are, (or maybe just some of us)!
Yeah just to clarify, I didn't mean to make anyone feel silly by posting the list of commonly asked questions. Of course if you are new, you haven't seen them before and the reason they get asked so much is because they are problems that occure on EVERYONES trucks - like the cancer above the front fender joints!
For those who have been around a while we remember when the last software upgrade occured. We used to have a fairly good search engine that you could actually find stuff on. But the new one really stinks - been complained about - but to no avail.
So, as Bob eluded to some of the folks who participate here daily and have walked others through questions (or for that matter been walked through them), have "engineered" ways to find, save, catalogue, and repost pertinent info - because we expect you will never be able to find it using the search.
That's why a lot of my posts have gottened shortened down with a comment and a few links. Hopefully we do it in a way that doesn't seem to impersonal or like we don't want to spend the time to answer you - it's great info and we don't want to loose any key points but , frankly, it's a LOT of typing to start over from scratch each time!
