possible clutch problem

I have a 95 f150 with the 300 IL6 and a 5 speed standard transmission.
when I am driving down the road I will hear a knocking semi metallic/hollow noise (more like a thok) when i hit bumps. I also hear it sometimes when I put in my clutch.
I got stuck in 3rd gear once =0 Couldnt get it to disengage and after 500 feet of swearing tugging revving and clutch slamming it came out. Hasn't happened since thankfully!

It has a hard time going directly in to first sometimes. If i sit with the tranny in neutral and the clutch disengaged then try to go into first sometimes it grinds bad and makes a horrible sound.
I thought at first it was the throw out bearing going out BUT I the bearing is brand new 6k miles ago...
any ideas?
arm bushings?
I really doubt the thunking & sticking 3rd gear are related, unless there's a problem with
your clutch master or slave cylinder or their adjustments and the clutch isn't entirely
disengaging (which would explain the 1st- & 3rd-gear problems).

This will teach me to trust someone else's work without checking it over myself

Now I just need to figure out my gear problem.
Thanks for the solve!

It seems to make the sound more often when I am giving it a little gas but not too much. It also makes one pop (sometimes) when I release the clutch. As if the released pressure let something drop?
I wish I had just one vehicle that didnt need fixing all the time lol
Probably should have posted this in the -96 forum...
