Anyone know if we can change our green dash lights to blue??? Kevin @ valair clutch did this to his dodge, but i haven't been able to talk to him about it. i would really like to do it since my dash lights are starting to go out anyways. any ideas guys?????
Travis i put clear led's with the green bulb covers in my guages and they turned out blue. Check out my web shots for the pic. I would post it buddy but im on my phone Oh yeah they are 194's in the dash
ohhh.. dang. i thought something like that took place...
so if the guages got a little green film that makes them light up green then how would i go about getting rid of that so i can stuff blue bulbs in there and be done? or will a different color with the green make blue? haha. shoulda known this would be more complicated than it sounded. its ok though. i think the end result will be very cool
There are places that sell replacement faces for the gauge cluster when they do those they often change the colors. To do them you need to remove the gauge cluster and open it up then remove the face behind it is the facia film used to color the guages you can then either change the film color or depending on the case leave it out and put in bulbs the color you want. Then reassemble.
Talk to Tj Beggs I believe he has the website to order the white faced gauges that light up blue they look pretty good. I had the website but I lost it. I think it was around 60 bucks for the setup.
I'm not going to put white faced gauges in my truck. i don't like the white faced guages i have seen ppl put in these trucks so i'm good with the black ones. i would like to do blue lights on the factory guages then get some ISSPRO black faced guages and make them blue as well. anyone know how many bulbs total our trucks have????? including the guages and A/C control lights. Thanks
