if that thing had a black face instead of white face i would buy it up in a second!!!! BUT i still just cant like the white faced guages they got for us. LoL
About 2 yrs ago, i replaced my dash lights cause a couple were out. Travis, dont quote me but im pretty sure there was upwards of 8 to 10 bulbs that illuminate the gauges. If you go the led route- itll be expensive. Clear led's in a 2 pack were almost $15 last time i bought em. Oh and make sure you dont switch out the cel, brake, abs, high beams, etc
thanks chris, there are a lot of different LED's out there for this. some are $3 per bulb and some are $11 per bulb. just depends which ones you get. i know i need to get wide angle bulbs.
Travis, it makes sense that when you put clear LEDs in that it lights up blue. I would imagine that the old lights in the dash are incandescent lights that burn yellowish. To get them to then be green, the guages would have to be blue, wouldn't they?
Phil, i have been thinking about this A LOT and i will just take the spare one i have in this other F150 i have and check it out. i know if i look at it i will figure it all out eventually. might see if cody can help me figure it out as well if i can't.
OT: Where is the best place to get the clear headlight kit with the clear bulbs for the turn signals that burn amber? And the same thing for cab lights if you know?

For anything you guys want to change the color on there is this new miracle product by a company called Krylon. You spray this stuff on and averything it touches changes whatever color is on the cap. Fairly cheap might want to get some before everybody else heres about it. lol
i got ya beat there Oversize. i found this stuff last weekend that they called rust oleum. i got me a couple cans and tried it out on my 5.0. it actually did changed the color somehow to the color they put on the cap. haha. i like it better than krylon. LoL
Phil. just keep your eye on ebay for the lights. search either bronco, F150, 250, or 350. just remember when you get the clear signals you gotta go down to the auto parts store to get yourself some new amber bulbs for the signals and you might as well get you some silvania silverstar ultras or HID conversion while your in there. haha
