Looking for a set of telescoping mirrors. I don't have electric mirrors on mine so that might present a problem. Can you still adjust the ones with the motors manually. What would you expect to pay at a junk yard. I found somebody that was selling a 2000 truck that had the upgraded mirrors and was trying to get a trade for mine plus cash. I was thinking around 100 bucks would be fair. Any thoughts........
Yeah, you can move them manually, but they make a nasty noise like plastic gears grinding when you do. I moved mine a few times by accident while washing the truck, and so far, no issues.
I don't have the electric ones on mine now. Don't have the switch to control them either. So leaning toward finding a mirror out of an xl model if possible. Going to the junk yard to see what they have.
Any mirror will fit, you can fit 08 mirrors if you want to. It's just the wiring that presents a little difficult if you want all the functions to work, which you don't have to worry about.
I found one folding tow mirrors at the junk yard. Suppose to call me when they get the drivers side in. Looks kind of funny with one large mirror and one small. At least I can see in my blind spot now. Easy install other than I dropped one of the nuts into the door that I could not find. Thought about some before and after pics but would of had to wash the truck....lol......Thanks for the help.
