My recently aquired "frozen motor" truck is now running and ready to drive . I picked up this truck for 1000 dollars and there is no rust on it 4.10 gears, 4x4, ZF 5spd, and 86000 miles on it. The starter was froze up and I replaced it and she starts right up.
Anywhoo....
I want to have a somewhat cheap build here. I was thinking of headers, exhaust (all stock), roller cam(not sure which one any suggestions?) and maybe some 1.7 rockers.
I basically just need to know what cam is a good cam to use now with the SD set up since Crane is gone.
In your opinion, would it be more benificial to have the cam and stock rockers, or just go with the rockers and headers and exhaust? What would we be looking at here power wise?
Also, It says that the 35-349-8 is not Computer friendly. It doesnt look too aggressive, but if it'll work and yield a sort of lopy idle tht'll be fine too. I just dont want to have idle/stalling issues.
