Tire bummer!
I had to take the 38.5x12X16.5 off my highboy. Without some kind of lift, the truck was just about useless. I had to use the entire width of my yard to turn it around, and my yard is 144' wide! Rubbed real bad if I got aggressive on the steering angle.
I had some stock sized 16's to put on it, and now it looks SILLY! They looked big on my old truck, and they are not small, but compared to the 38.5s, they're teensy.
I need some wider,taller meats. But not 38.5s.
On a positive note, I can work on the engine without a step ladder now!

The tires on it now are 235-85-16 Dunlops. They looked huge on my old 84 F250, not so much on my highboy.
The 38.5s created a storage issue. They take up about as much room as a Honda Civic!
