well after almost a year i am gettin ready to order my tires in a couple weeks. i have narrowed it downm to either 38.5x14.5x15 tsl/sx or 16x38.5x15 tsl. cant make up my mind witch ones i want to get anyone have any suggestions?? i have the 38 tsl on my truck now and they are bald i have loved em in the mud. and the tires are both within 5 dollars of eachother.

I have 38.5x14.5x16.5 tsl/sx on my 79 F250. I love everything about them except that almost a year later they are almost bald. I was gonna get the Ground Hawgs but they don't grip in reverse in the mud like the tsl do. I think you'd like the tsl/sx.
I run 38.5" SX's I love them! The little bit of sidewall tread helps a lot in the sand, gravel, mud, and on the rocks!
My brother has the plain 38.5" TSL, he likes them, but I think they look boring with nothing on the sidewall! I think the TSL rides better because it is a radial.
So both tires have scored points, but get the SX's
well after what you guys said and asking around i think that i will go with the tsl/sx. i think they look better with the side lugz and all. and i am asuming that it is basicly a tsl (same 3 stage lug design) but with side lugs. now the only thing is should i get wheels with it lol. guess ill have to make that descision on my own.
