i want to lower the front, to match the rear, i did a 2" drop shackle. and a axle flip. ( i put the leaf springs uder the rear axle) could i just buy a new set of coils, and cut them.? any suggestions.
You have a few options so it depends on money and skills.
First option is lowered beams from DJM or AIM. It is an easy bolt-on 3 inch drop. You get a little more drop with springs but too much you will run into camber problems.
Second option is to read the threads in this forum about late model Crown Vic crossmembers. This option requires a little fabrication but certainly updates the front suspension and will allow for more aggresive lowering.
