Rear Axle

I'am looking for a rearend out of a 67/72 F100 to install in my 51-F1. I have looked all over Michigan with no luck. Thought i would try this forum.
Gear ratio somewhere around 3:50
Thanks..

Hmmm, my buddy might have a complete housing? He will have gear selections too.
Depending on where you are(in Michigan), you could come to Ohio to get it.

I'll PM you details

If I remember right I think you would be looking for one only up to 67 because
I think I read that 68-72 are wider than the 67! Maybe some one else has
read this to and will ring in on this?

Freightrain, I have called your buddy and left a message. Then had to leave town on business. I will try to call him again on friday.
The rearend from the 67-72 F-100 is supposed to be 61-1/4 inches from axle flange to flange and also 5-1/2 inch wheel stud spacing.
According to this web site that axle is supposed to bolt right in except for the shock mounts.
