i got the new tps sensor in and some what adjusted i have .5 and 3 something and it holds the gears well almost to well it doesnt like to downshift from 3 to 4th , but it doesnt rev up like it use to in od, stays steady so i'm getting close...
Those numbers indicate not enough signal, so your lack of kickdown isn't surprising. Get the base voltage to 0.8V~1V and you should see a decent improvement.
Turns out we had some hackers recently which is why I had a heck of a time getting online to reply.
I finally got around to adjusted it up again and i have.95 at idle and 3.85 at wide open, took it for a test drive and works alot betterdo you think i should leave it alone or tune it some more? thanks
You could turn it up slightly more if you want but if it shifts well for you then you don't have too. Maybe try running it for a while and see how it does. Make sure none of the upshifts are slipping under any conditions. Also pay attention to the torque converter lockup.
Sounds like you are VERY close and it might be good enough to leave it alone. Hard to say without being able to drive your truck.
David, I think you should come to oz on holiday and I'll put you up while you build me a bullet proof e4od. You will prolly need two suitcase, one for clothes and one for parts.lol.

I think probably 2 suitcases of parts and buy a change of clothes after he gets the work done!
Actually I have a flight on the 28th to the sunshine coast where I'll be visiting with my sister for a couple months. However, thats a bit of a drive to go to western australia. I know you guys in oz like long drives, but thats a LONG drive even for you LOL
If I were to bring all the parts in my carry on, they would probably think I was trying to smuggle a nuke into the country
Change of cloths is probably not a stretch. I hate the fact that they don't provide a drain plug for them. I guess they think we wouldn't change the filter if they did.
Mine has a drain plug in the pan with a temp sender in it. If your in oz for a couple of months and feel like hopping a flight to the west coast then let me know.
