dana 44 spindle question

Are both of the spindle nuts the same size or is one bigger than the other?

The Dana HD 44's from the F250's are the same.

If you mean the spindle theads are messed up, a thread file\thread comb can be your friend.

If it's the nut that is damaged, it's best just to replace it.

the threads are messed up and i tried filing it and still nothing.

I assume you mean the spindle threads. Purchase and use a thread comb. A file is hit or mis depending on the damage. I have repaired many spindle threads with this tool. A dye this size is expensive. I may have a die this size to loan you if some one can tell us the size\thread count

Try the thread comb first.
