This is a battle I have been fighting now on two new trucks. It is monitored by your Smart Junction Box. There is no fuse to unplug, home remedy that actually works, or tuner that will take away the light and/or message center alert.
The only idea I've had that may be so crazy it just might work:
1. Buy 4 learning capable garage door remotes. They are fairly cheap.
2. Teach each remote an acceptable pressure transmission from a tire. (This teach will have to be done while the wheel is spinning enough to wake up the sensor.)
3. Wire each garage remote to a selectable power supply like those you see for running stuff off of your dash accessory plug. Wire this to the truck so that it will provide constant power to the remotes while the truck is running.
4. Glue the button down on each remote so that the remotes are always transmitting.
i put some bfg-mud terrains on the stock rims-they are max pressured at 50 psi--how do i "FIX" the tpms light????----------oops---2010 f350
You can't fix it. You chose to install a tire with a lower load rating on a truck that requires an "E" range tire. Learn to live with the error message, change the tires back to stock, or buy "E" load range Mud Terrains.
