I've had TPMS faults in the past but in another forum an owner claims that a TPMS fault causes their cruise control to become inoperative. A Google search found an owner of some other manufactures vehicle stated that a TPMS fault disabled the traction control ON/OFF switch.
During one of my TPMS faults, my cruise control still functioned.
Does anyone know of anything like this is past/present Escape models?

As a Ford mechanic I have not seen a tpms fault to cause cruise control or any other system malfunction on any Ford vehicle.
