Wheel squeek
Hello, my '02 F150 2 w.d. has a squeek which appears to be coming from the right rear wheel. When I take a left is the only time the squeek appears. I have replaced the pads and filed as much rust off the top of the rotor as possible. Still there. Sometimes after I take a left, it will continue to squeek for about 100 yards or so. If I apply the brakes, while going straight, it disappears. It seems to me when I take a left the wheel is being 'loaded' creating this squeek. I am perplexed beyond replacing the rotors. My truck has 47,000 miles and there are no grooves or lines in the rotors. The pads are a month old and I use the AutoZone Gold. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx.

Sounds like a classic case of a worn wheel bearing, or one that is dry.
Replacement on your 2wd is pretty straight forward. If you haven't already, a Haynes manual is a good investment, and will walk you step by step.
Manual will cost about $20.
