hey guys i have 04 6.0 and it had a hypertek programmer that i disconnected as of directions because of the terrible mpg and i disconnected the egr but reconnected it from reading some post on here my question is do i need to anything like disconnect the batters turn lights on and do all that stuff or should be ok cause it seems like i have no low end turbo and when i drive the truck it doesn't move unless it down shifts any thoughts thanks in advance

Well it was hooked up when I bought it so I have no idea

Honestly get rid of that programmer, drive it stock and see how it runs. If you having issues you might want to get it checked out. As for upgrade I would advise getting yourself a SCT x3. You'll be happy and your truck will thank you as well.

well i disconnected it already thats why i was wondering if i need to do any thing im thinking of doing the vgt reset and see if that helps

Sounds like the turbo veins are stuck, so its not closing down to build boost at low RPM. If this is the case, it will take off once it gets over about 2500 rpm. Make sure the VGT actuator is plugged in (wire going to the turbo). If it is pluggen in, unplug it and see if it runs any different, if not then the turbo is stuck.
