Fixed my boost leak, mostly...
What a difference. I checked the bolts on the backplate that hold the compressor housing, and they were slightly loose. I only tightened the 3 I could readily get to, but I will get the others on Saturday. Same on the turbine side. Nothing was overly loose, but they all readily accepted around 1/4 of a turn. Also added 1/2 a turn to the intake hat, and fixed my secret CDR issue. Previous owner did the hole in the valve cover, but the original grommet or what ever was there was long gone. I got a grommet from the hardware store that fit perfectly, a copper step that fit the grommet tightly once the grommet was installed, and ran the hose from the copper step to the CDR. At any rate, there were notable improvements all the way around, and I just thought I'd share.

Just replaced my CDR and used this grommet for my 94 7.3 Turbo. It was about 4" long, but was easily cut to the right length. I think, but am not sure, if this is the one for use in the non turbo models.
