lifter stress
'92 w 351W EFI. Had to pull intake housing to get right valve cover off chasing a clicking noise. found one rocker arm loose. Rockers are in pivot saddles. Torqued all 8 of them to 23 per Haynes manual. Got it back together and noise did not change so, I am deducing that the lifter(s) need replaced. My Q is... will I do damage driving two more weeks before I have time to tear in again?

if your easy on it you will probably be fine. sounds like you have a couple stuck lifters. its best to change all of them at once. just know that if you prolong this you could bend a push rod which may cause other damage
