223 Solid or Hyd. Lifters

223 Solid or Hyd. Lifters

Does a 1963 223 six come from the factory with solid or hyd. lifters. Mine was rebuilt but is making some noise. Where can I get specs on adjusting the lifters.

To my knowlege, all (watch some clown prove me wrong!) 215/223/262s had solid lifters. My Motor manual says that the valve lash on both the intake & exhast is .019".
