No problem! I have been searching the forum as much as i can and have also read that you don't have to remove the cab. Everyone does say it makes things alot easier. It just sucks because i can't do this work so it's going to cost me!!
Hahaha thats for sure. Hey i noticed the Shamokin Pa... lol my wife is from Orwigsburg in Schuylkill Co. Thanks again bro! I'll post some pics of the new floors when i get them in. Should be done after Thanksgiving.
Talk to a guy about putting the new floors in quoted me $400. He advised me that when he does it he will leave some over lap of old steel and weld the new pan to that. Is that the best way to install the new pans or should they be butt welded in without any overlap?
Just dropped the truck off to get the old floor pans cut out and the new ones welded in! Included in the price ($700 total) the body guy is going to spray in Raptor Liner through out my cab as well as under the new floors to seal the moisture out. I planned on going to Line-x to do this but they want $650 for just the inside of the cab!! Anyone have any experience with Raptor Liner or reviews? I may still go with the Line-x.
