Pretty close to putting in new floor pans in my 79 f150, any advice from people who have done this before? Any experiences that I could learn from would be nice. Thanks guys
Not as bad as it seems. Lap welding the pans in is easier but butt welding gives a much neater appearance. Use a mig welder, don't bother with flux core. The welds look crappy with flux core.
Measure, measure, measure and then measure again. Take your time, don't rush and don't get frustrated. If you do, walk away for a while.
