Exhaust Help
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Nov-02 AT 08:53 PM (EST)]We'll a buddy of mine has a 92 F250 4x4 5.8L and his driver side exhaust manifold is cracked he called the dealer $500.00 ouch. Anybody know where he can get a new or used one for a more reasonable price?
On another note I just had my exhaust done today I went with a 3in Y with cross over for the O2 sensor from the headers to a high flow 3in cat to a 3in turbo style performance tube muffler and 3in over the axle and out the side. All heavy duty thick wall pipe. WOW!!!! what a differance.

I have a set of Hedderman shorties still in the box he could have but he wants to stay bone stock under the hood.We checked out a bunch of wreckers in Durham region but came up with nothing.

Hey,
Oftentimes the wreckers can search other wreckers databases to see what they have in their yard.
If you find a wrecker that can do this they can search all of southern Ontario and have the parts shipped/dropped off to them.
I have done this before with other parts.

They took it off the shelf (so they must have lots)

Corey's has lots of stuff. Make them a cash offer for parts rather than asking for a price, you'll save quite a bit.
I have a set on an 88 351W EFI but I cut all the air tubes off. I might trade them for Ranger V8 swap headers, or other Ford engine parts.....

In thepast I've bought complete Tempo motors for 200, auto trans for 75. They let you walk around the yard too. They have an 800 number 800.461.0699. They are located out by Woodstock.
