Where would I find one for a 73 F100 302? Ive been looking around with no luck. LMC has one but it says its for 75-79 trucks.I had two setting around but they don't work either. Any place to get a new evap canistor hose also? Thanks.
Yes. The problem I am having with the air cleaner temp sensor is it is not closing the metal flap. So the carb is always pulling in air from the preheater duct. I have it unpluged and blocked off right now so it will pull air from the fresh air duct.
I don't know about the sensor but NAPA has a replacement tube listed in their emission catalog. Its 3/4" by 3' long, corrugated aluminum tube. I just bought one a couple of months ago. The finish and color aren't like the original but unless you're going for originality, it will work fine.
One question. Are you sure it's the sensor and not the vacuum actuator?
A quick check is to hook the hose from the actuator to a vacuum source and see if it opens.
