Not sure what the new Termy T1 is about. Maybe Curtis or someone can fill us in. I have no need for "medium" oil now.
I don't know what all goes into making the T1 or the Adrenaline pumps, or how similar or different they are. All I know is they work, and they are much much cheaper than the standard 'big oil' systems that we've had for years. These are products that consumers have been demanding/wishing for years now, and Dieselsite and Terminator Engineering answered those calls.

I've been very happy with my dual pumps (and they provide a monstrous amount of oil), but if T1 and Adrenaline were on the market back when I was shopping around, I probably would have gone with one of these two choices. That might tell you how impressed I am with these pumps

I love product innovation, it's been a long time coming for the 7.3L. This year has seen some major strides in the aftermarket sector for the PSD.

Whats the difference between the T.E. modified stock and the Adrenaline? The Adrenaline was less than $600 while the T.E. modded stock was just over $2k. That doesn't seem like it makes sense.

No, the TE dual-pump system is over $2k. Their modified stock is a bit more than a stock pump, and the single Stealth is something like $1500, IIRC. I'm guessing the T1 is their answer to the Adrenaline. A lower cost pump, but good enough for those wanting the maximize the capability of stock sticks. The Adrenaline will support all injectors up to but not including B codes. I'm guessing that means stock and slightly modified splits. EDIT: And hybrids & singles, of course.

Joe,

What do you mean by "B codes".

Edit: Never mind Joe. I just found the answer to my own question.

Ok, so a modified stock hpop from when of these companies would be sufficient? That's what I'm looking for. Something that can supply more oil without needing "big oil" if you will.

You will have to email Joey at terminator about the modded 17* pump, it's not advertised on their site. The T1 is still in testing, so not much info on it yet.

Yep -- that should be plenty... Check with Joey at Termy or Bob at DieselSite. These are kind of referred to as "medium oil". LOL I guess the Stage 1 Stealth is as well, but is kind of pricey, IMHO.

Here is a breakdown of the available HPOP's. Prices can vary of course depending on your source, or your deal-making abilities, but you guys get the idea:

Stock HPOP ~$500 (more if you get it from a dealership)

Dieselsite
Adrenaline - $590
Overdrive - $1000

Terminator Engineering
T1 ~$650 (Joey doesn't have a price listed, so I'm going off of memory)
HPOS1 - $2100 (uses your current HPOP)
HPOS2 - $2600 (you get two new pumps)

Stealth
Stage 1 - $1600
Stage 2 - $2400
Stage 3 - $3500

Swamps
Gen3 - $1650

BTS
Dual HPOP ~ $2200 (going off of memory here again)

So yeah, there's quite a few options out there for just about any price range and performance you require

On a recent WOT run while keeping a close eye on the HPOP pressure gauge my Adrenaline held 3100 PSI, steady as a rock, from 60 MPH until I took my foot out of it when the speedo needle pegged past 100 MPH. And this was with my stock split shots. Even if the gauge had a 200 PSI error that would mean a minimum of 2900 PSI. I am impressed with the Adrenaline. Plus I got in on the introductory price.

Go ahead, rub it in... Those are some good looking numbers, Robin.

I have always beleived in "getting in on the ground floor".

When I first put the Adrenaline in I did some data logging and posted the graphs. That was with less then 20 miles on the pump and the AE showed a not so steady 2750 to 2800 from 65 to just over 90. I am going to have to do this WOT run again with AE hooked up and compare it with the HPOP gauge, and also check the ICP duty cycle again.

The only thing that keeps me from doing these WOT tests more often is the Highway Patrol.

With only 20 miles, you probably still had some air in there, Robin. And I know what you mean. I got a ticket once "testing" my truck on the highway. I even showed the officer my CEL, and told him it only happened when I got on the throttle, so I was stepping on it, and letting off. LOL Got out of the ticket by taking an online class.

EDIT: And I need to do this some more as well -- I know I'm holding at least 1000psi more than I was before the hybrids. I need to look at some of the other tunes. I think Tony is calling for 2800 in one tune, and 3000 in the other. I'm seeing about that, but I have been a bit gun shy to go through these and verify.
