I won't buy a Phalanx, or anything from Spartan for that matter. Their customer support is just way too poor. I understand if they are overworked, but they can control that and not let customer service suffer. I was in the market for injectors last year and tried contacting them several times about their Economax injectors, never got a response.
I can understand that, and I remember when you were in the market for those. If you still are in the market I can suggest someone for you(he did mine) and his customer service has always been top notch. He used to do them for Matt, but I think Matt is totally out of that game as well. I think he just does tuning now period, especially since the newer engines can get so much more hp/tq with just tuning alone.

I do have an edge of being moderately within driving distance(5 hrs) and between horse shows in the Knoxville area and the ole ball and chain who likes to go to Asheville, it's easy to make a side trip out that way.

They are good, I have had a couple of tunes by them as well. I would honestly suggest having a tunes from various people as each individual one has their own style and how they do their tuning and you have some that are better known for tow tunes, street tunes and racing tunes. Very rarely do you have someone that is really good at all the different ranges of tunes. Luckily for me and others that have the Phalanx, Matt has started bringing other tuners(the people) into the fold, so "you" are starting to get that with his tuner as well.
Yeah, I think they are out of injectors, I believe Nutty told me that. I am still in the market, but now sure now if I'll just replace the troublesome ones with stock or replace all 8 with aftermarket. I won't go any larger than 155s and I'm trying to do research on the different injector builders and how they do their nozzle setups. I don't want big nozzles that will not atomize as well and smoke/waste fuel. I think Elite is one that uses more holes in the injector tips to maintain the smaller hole size, but finding this info is difficult. Luckily I have some time to make up my mind as my stiction issues don't seem to be getting any worse. Also I'm switching to 5w-40 synthetic next change and that will probably help a lot.
