Im gettin a little bit more mpg and it seems to have better throttle response. I topped it off with a 600 Holley. I also noticed it pulls things alot better now with the intake/carb change.

i got a 670 truck avenger i pick it up for for cheap do u like it better than the stock 1
Never had a Holley truck avenger style carb. I am quite pleased with my traditional 600cfm manual choke Holley though. Its been on the truck about 2 years now and I havent touched it once. I took it out of the box and put it in the truck and thats all i've done. The stock carb on the 400 was the two-barrel motorcraft 2150, which is a great carb. Mine was just wore out so I decided to switch over to a fourbarrel. Maybe somebody else will chime in later and tell you more specifics of how your engine will respond to the changes since Im basing my facts off of a 400 not a 390.
so put this manifold on my truck after this thred and i have been driving whith it daily so final vertict this minifold may work for some but i have foud that there is no better way to nuder your truck than this i lost a but load of low end mid and top end the only real benifit is that its aluminum the only thing thats holding my from goin back to stock is the hassle it is to change it so if you have a 390 i would NOT recomend this manifold
