I will say if anyone decides to buy these JVT headers, paint them before you put them on. They lose thier luster almost immediately after they are installed.

Do you have them on your truck? If so what did you do for the fitment issue on the passenger side? Did you notch the frame or dent the header?
Hi all, I also found a broken stud on my 04 V-10 manifold...I was thinking of putting headers on. I seen these on ebay item # 270359558231. FORD RACING 2005-06 F-250 6.8 V-10 HEADERS 9430-SD683. I was wondering if anyone has installed these? If so, any clearance issues? Also wondering if anyone in the Detroit Metro area was interested in swapping these out for me? I have no access to a lift and its getting a bit cold here!!! Thank to all for any info, Chopper.
Reading this thread makes me nervous. I have an 02 Excursion V10. Bought used back in July 2009 with 113K miles. Luckily, Banks is couple of miles from my work so if I ever decide to have Banks system installed, they can do it and it takes them a day.

I dented the header on the first set. After a year of looking at it every day and deciding the dent was too much, I bought another set and cut the frame. I did it with a 4" angle grinder with a cutting disk on it. Cut a 3/4 wide by 4" long section of frame out. I haven't noticed any problems or anything since the notch. It's pretty small but it's there.
